About
The F&S 5600i die shear and wire pull testing tool is used to evaluate quality of wire bond or die attach process for microelectronic, optoelectronic, and hybrid devices. It has interchangeable modules to measure small die/ball or large die shear strength as well as wire pull force. Results can be analyzed and output immediately or exported in a number of data base formats for subsequent analysis as desired.
Application

Pull/Shear Cartridges and Tools
- PH100i: Wire Pull up to 100gf with accuracy of 0.25gf and test speed up to 10mm/s.
- SH500i: Ball/Die Shear up to 500gf with accuracy of 1.25gf and test speed up to 10mm/s.
- SH5000i: Ball/Die Shear up to 5000gf with accuracy of 12.5gf and test speed up to 10mm/s.

System Overview
The tester shares the mainframe with the wire bonder and converts into a pull/shear tester by swapping the heads. The same mechanical features as wire bonder are available for the tester.
- XY motor driven workholder with 100x100mm travel range.
